When and How Will Ascension Happen?

"You must cleanse yourself and release all of this. Look inside yourself and ask yourself what do I not feel good about? What is there that is bothering me? Whom have I hurt and not made amends with? Who am I still mad at and have not forgiven? Let these things come up and then deal with them and make these things right. You know what to do to make these things right.

Ascension will happen for you when you are ready to ascend. You will be ready when you have released all of the pain, the suffering, the negativity, the anger, the hurt feelings, the judgments, the drama, the resentment, the expectations, the criticism and the false beliefs that you have been living by. You must find your true Self to ascend."

My Higher Self

To Andy Bojarski

Ascension is happening now. The energies are already here. They will intensify in the times ahead. The shift has already occurred and the new world has already been created. It is there and it is waiting for you.

Ascension for you, however, is a continuous process. You are not there yet. But you will be. That is why you are here now. You are in charge of your ascension. There is no time in the higher dimensions. You are experiencing linear time on Mother Earth and this linear time is moving faster now. Ascension is an individual process.

Please focus on what you need to release. Focus on you. You cannot and will not ascend into the higher dimensions until you release what does not serve your highest and best good. Focus on the things in your life that do not serve your highest and best good and release these things. Ask yourself what is there in your life that needs to be cleaned up and released. If you focus on this, things will come up to the surface nudging you.

Your higher self will nudge you and tell you. You will know based on how you feel. What is upsetting you? Maybe you had an argument with someone and are holding this in? This needs to be fixed. Maybe you stole something. This needs to be returned. Maybe you said something to someone that hurt them. You need to forgive yourself and make this situation right with the other person.

Say you are sorry and ask forgiveness from that person. It matters not if they forgive you. What matters is that you are trying to make amends and are apologizing if you were in the wrong from the other person’s perspective. That is what releasing what does not serve you is all about. That is what you must do before you can ascend.

You must cleanse yourself and release all of this. Look inside yourself and ask yourself what do I not feel good about? What is there that is bothering me? Whom have I hurt and not made amends with? Who am I still mad at and have not forgiven? Let these things come up and then deal with them and make these things right. You know what to do to make these things right.

Vivien Leigh in A Streetcar Named Desire, the 1951 film adaptation (directed by Elia Kazan) of the 1947, Pulitzer Prize winning stage play by Tennessee Williams

Ascension will happen for you when you are ready to ascend. You will be ready when you have released all of the pain, the suffering, the negativity, the anger, the hurt feelings, the judgments, the drama, the resentment, the expectations, the criticism and the false beliefs that you have been living by. You must find your true Self to ascend.

You do this by using your intuition and doing things that feel right to you, not what others tell you that is right or what others tell you that you should feel. Do not give your power away by doing things or believing in things that others tell you to do or believe in if it does not feel good to you. Those days are over and you must stand in your light and find a higher awareness and strength to say no.

There are so many channelings out there that are reassuring and positive. But please make sure they resonate with you. If it does not feel right to you, it probably is not right. Use your discernment. Not all channelings are accurate. Use your intuition and ask yourself, “Does what I am reading feel right to me?” Go with your first initial response. Don’t just take what is said at face value as truth. It must feel like truth to you to resonate with you.

Remove any fear and release any disappointments that you may have when something did not happen based on a channeling you read. Do not blame others or let yourself get down when something did not happen when it was supposed to happen based on something you read. The channeling may be accurate but not coincide with the linear time you are experiencing. Thus, eliminate all expectations and disappointments based on any dates.

All the answers are within you. You decide when something will happen, nobody else and no channeled message, as each of you have your own timelines of probabilities and possibilities based on your individual ascension. The Ascended Masters, Angels, Arch Angels and all Light Beings are there to help.
However, they cannot do the work for you. They can advise and guide you. But YOU must do the work. You are the ones you have been waiting for. To ascend, you must release all of this stuff. To release you must go within and work on things that do not serve your highest and best good. All timelines and probabilities point to one possibility: Your ascension.

You are here at these times now for the sole purpose of ascending. You know this on your subconscious level. That is why there are 7+ billion people here on earth now. You agreed to come here to release, to finally let go permanently all of the things that you have experienced in all of your past lifetimes.
It is time to let go! It is time to release! It is time to stand in your light! It is time for you to realize how powerful and loved you are! It is time to find and stand in your I AM Presence! That is why you are here. It is not easy. There is so much resentment, fear, hurt and anger that is suppressed by humanity, and individually. All of it must go collectively and individually before your ascension will be manifested for you.
The energies coming in now are helping so much. Energy healings help so much as well. An energy healing will serve you well as it will help give you clarity as to what you must do to release things that do not serve your highest and best good. An energy healing will not do the work for you. You still need to do the work. It will help you better understand what that work is that needs to be done.

All of the Arch Angels, and legions of Angels, and Guides are here now as well as all light beings to help you with your ascension. These are glorious times. But YOU must make it happen. You must be the one that makes ascension happen for yourself. Hoping that all the light beings will lift you up and carry you to your new world without you doing the work will not get you there.

You will see all of this coming up for release in the upcoming times for you and for the collective. It is happening now already and it will intensify. It is time for the old to go away and for the new to be brought into your life. Bring it into your life with love and happiness and joy. Remove yourselves from negative people who bring you down and love them from a distance, if need be. Remove yourselves from negative relationships. Do not let anyone or anything lower your energy level.

This is all about you now. This is about doing things that resonate on your energy level. The dark is here for a purpose. They will come to the light. The energies will flush them out and they will say I have had enough, what am I fighting for, why I am so destructive, I am tired of this. If you can’t beat them, then join them. The dark will come around and join the light.

In the end, there is no separation, we are all One and we are all love. Love the dark for the role that they are playing. Love the dark for the lessons they are teaching you. They are allowing your soul to grow and develop. The collective will ascend. It has been decreed and it will happen. It will happen for every person. Nobody will be left behind as we are all One. Eliminate any timeframes and expectations as to when it will happen for you or the collective.

Do not rely on liner timeframes and dates. Trust and have faith that it will happen and live your life as if it has already happened. By you living in love and joy, you are spreading your light to others to see. You are paving the road as lightworkers for others to follow. You are needed at these times. But you cannot spread your light if your light is contaminated. You must release and cleanse.

Remove the shackles from your body and cut your cords and attachments to people, relationships and things that do not resonate at your light level. You, and nobody else, must do this work. But you can do this. You would not be here if you could not. You have had so many lifetimes to prepare. The rewards are there.
Immortality in a new world that is beyond your imagination is what is waiting for you. No more lifetimes for you. This is it. Your last life, and also your hardest. Surrender to Mother / Father God and let life flow for you. Ask for help and trust that it will come as the Universe rearranges to give you what you are manifesting. Do not fight with the third dimensional mindset that others will throw at you. Do not fight with your ego. Just love!

Ascension is here. It is upon you. It will happen. It has happened. But you must now get there and catch up with it. You catch up by working on yourself and clearing and releasing things that are not love based. So cleanse your soul, make things right that need to be made right and shine your light. Remove all expectations on dates and work on yourself and you will ascend before you know it! Live your life in love and treat others the way you want to be treated. Be the Love. Be YOU!

The Eternal Love of the Heart Chakra

By Master Kuthumi

Channelled through Natalie Glasson, 27 May 2013

A constant aspect of acting as a tool and beacon of receiving light upon the Earth is to be observant of the need for constant cleansing of the heart chakra. The heart chakra is a tool which fuels all experiences upon the Earth, the level of the  openness of your heart chakra allows you to perceive your reality, self, the Creator and even your own healing process with varied levels of understanding. When the heart chakra is open then you are abundant in your ability to accept and to give the vibrations, wisdom and essence of the Creator. Your energy vibration shifts to a quicker frequency and you are able to move into a state of clarity throughout your entire being especially the mind. With the openness of the heart chakra it can seem as if you are connecting to higher dimensions and aspects of yourself as you are receiving a constantly vibrating current of yourself and the Creator flowing throughout your being. The openness of the heart chakra to whatever degree allo ws for higher aspects of yourself to ground into your embodiment.

When the heart chakra is closed or closing it can signify that the heart or the mind has become focused upon pain within the heart chakra. This pain may have always been present or it may have emerged recently due to experiences but the mind can become besotted with the pain, reminding your entire body of the pain in the heart constantly. It is as if your focus wishes to send the vibration of the pain into the entire body as if to become the vibration of pain. To enter into the vibration of pain in this way may seem as if it could bring forth a healing or solution to the pain but in actual fact allows your entire vibration to slow down and your heart to close or protect itself. It is often when pain is experienced in the heart chakra that the heart closes taking on the pain or even becoming the pain, finding love within the heart chakra can become increasingly difficult unless the focus of the mind is altered. Remember, that which you create or focus upon you experience. So if you focus upon pain in the heart chakra the heart chakra seems to embody the pain because of your focus.

In many ways you experience an illusion created by yourself and your focus, you allow yourself to enter into a reality where pain is real and the pain that you focus upon in your heart becomes your reality. The truth is that the pain is merely a blemish upon a clean and loving canvas of love. Your heart is always filled with the love of the Creator; love is eternally present and cannot be dissolved by pain or fear. If you imagine your heart chakra as a clean window, but you notice a blemish upon the window, once you notice the blemish it becomes all that you can see, the clean window no longer has value or relevance because of this blemish which is almost consuming your attention. It can be the same for the heart chakra.

It is true that within your heart chakra you can store much pain and fears, in many ways you could imagine your heart as a storing cupboard where you not only allow yourself to hold the love of the Creator and your soul but you also store energies, memories and wisdom that you perceive as valuable. Sometimes you store things within your heart chakra because they need to be hidden until you are ready to acknowledge or address them. Not only is your heart chakra an instrument of love for you to experience and express the love of the Creator but it is also a space in which you store energies, memories and wisdom. Sometimes fears can be locked within your heart acting as tools. They will emerge at the most appropriate time to aid a healing and inspire you with a new realisation about yourself. The heart chakra is also a tool of magnification and this can be why pain held within the heart can become overpowering within your being and mind. It is important to remember that when you experience pain of the heart chakra that love is always and remains present within your heart chakra. You have a choice whether you wish to acknowledge the love or not. The presence of love within your heart chakra can allow for a quick and beautiful healing of any pain that is experienced but the key is to remain observant of the pain but to draw your focus away from the fear and to place it in the realisation that your heart chakra is always abundant with love.

When you feel alone, afraid, sad or any kind of emotion that causes pain in the heart chakra to emerge, it is important to remember and to remind yourself that love still remains within your body, being and reality. Love is eternal within your being and just requires your focus in order to bring it to the forefront for experiencing. In moments of heartache you have chosen to bring pain to the forefront to be experience. This is your choice and you always have the opportunity to change your choice and to choose the experience of love through reminding yourself that love is always present within your heart chakra and can be summoned forward in waves to aid deep healing.

The heart chakra also has the ability to download the higher self into your being and embodiment. Your higher self is constantly downloading its energy and presence into your heart chakra for your further understanding and expression. Your higher self can be explained as the aspect of the Creator that is needed to be merged with your being. You hold within your being your soul which is your essence, truth and is an aspect of the Creator. Your soul in some ways can never be complete because there is no separation between your soul, your soul group and the Creator. These are all aspects or quicker vibrations of the Creator. When you are accepting your higher self you are accepting a quicker vibration of the Creator that will serve you in that moment so it may be an aspect of your soul, soul group or the Creator but it is an aspect which holds insights and realisations to aid your embodiment of the Creator.  With this understanding your heart chakra is constantly downloading, realising or attuning to your higher self. It is often that when you seek guidance or inspiration that you cannot comprehend which part of yourself you require assistance from, but when you call upon your higher self you are allowing a part of yourself, whether your soul, soul group, Creator or even guide to step forward and provide.

I am aware that many experience confusion with labels such as soul, soul group, higher self, Creator and so forth, but it served me while within a physical body upon the Earth to understand my higher self almost as the next stage of integration of or with the Creator. It is a vibration that is constantly evolving and increasing in vibration because you are constantly accepting your higher self which is akin to pieces of the Creator. Your higher self is a part of yourself and the Creator which is always providing to you all that you need. It is akin to a bridge that allows you to easily access all that is the Creator in order to embody the Creator more fully within your being. Your soul could be explained as the essence of the Creator that is attached to the incarnation, your soul group is the source from which your soul extends, your higher self is the bridge between your soul and soul group and all of these aspects including your physical body are aspects of the Creator.

You may wish to ask me, Master Kuthumi, to come forward to be of service to you in cleansing your heart chakra. The love that I now share with you as I exist before you will assist you in allowing your heart chakra to expand and open appropriately. Allow yourself to breathe the love that I share with you deep into your heart centre. Your focus is upon your heart chakra being open and expansive. You may wish to repeat;

‘My heart chakra is open and expansive.’

Then call upon your soul which is attuned and can be expressed through your heart chakra to come forward and cleanse your heart chakra of all unneeded energies. Ask your soul to cleanse your mind of all unneeded focuses within the heart chakra also. Imagine the light of your soul washing and purifying your heart chakra or the space of love within your being.

Allow love to flow from your heart chakra, sending it into your surroundings to focus upon the flow of love and the ample love that you hold within your being.

Say;

‘My heart chakra is attuned to my higher self; I allow the vibration of my higher self to flow into and through my heart chakra. My heart chakra is an expression of my higher self.’

Allow yourself to experience this integration.

‘I allow myself to recognise any pain in my heart chakra if and when it needs to be released and to inspire further growth. I realise that I do not need to allow the pain to consume my heart chakra completely but that I can observe the pain while remembering that my heart is filled with love eternally. It is my realisation of my eternal love that allows me to constantly cleanse, realise and heal my heart chakra allowing for the greater expression of my higher self.’

Allow time to experience, observe and integrate.

May your heart chakra be your greatest joy,

                             Master Kuthumi

Monstaville Book I. Chapter 16

16

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.”
- Mary Anne Radmacher.

Woman: Do something. Don’t just stand there staring at him!
Man: He’s got to fight me. Otherwise, I can’t kill him. Or annoy me so I’ll lose my temper like I did before.
                - The Seventh Seal (directed by Ingmar Bergman, 1957).

Nightclub doorman: Don’t lose your temper until it’s time to lose your temper.
                - 25th Hour (directed by Spike Lee, 2002).

You must not react. Someone like Pigsy tries to push your buttons and get a negative reaction to justify his violent temper, blaming it on you. Don’t react at all, even mentally. Ignore him.

The New Sun by Hilda Charlton (Golden Quest, New York, U.S., 1989, p.95).

The New Sun: Why is it we often yell at the people whom we love the most?
Hilda Charlton: It’s a very strange thing that the ones we love the most are the ones we yell at. It’s because you can’t go into your work and yell - you’d get fired. You can’t yell at the garbage man, or he won’t take the garbage. You can’t yell at the superintendent of your apartment house, or he’ll make you lose your apartment. So who are you going to yell at? There’s only one person on whom to get rid of your aggravations from the world, and that’s the close one in your house, and therefore arguments go on. But I give a great edict to this world: I ask couples not to yell at the same time or on the same day. One can yell on one day and one on the other day. Don’t fight the same day. It’s like two hands clapping. If one doesn’t clap, the other one has got nothing to clap against, and it will peter out, and there will be no arguments.”

Domestic violence [Notes from a TV programme I think].

Violence on any level is about power and control.

One in four women will be abused in their lifetime.

One in six men will be abused in their lifetime.

Fear/hate/lack of self-worth underlies the anger.

A distorted feeling of justice. Anger is just energy in motion.

It is how we express that energy that matters.

One feels that one’s boundaries are transgressed. It is okay to feel anger but we must watch how we express it. We have a choice.

A lot of abusers are trying to deal with something that happened when they were children, even before they can remember.

(Two women are killed by their partner or ex-partner in the U.K. every week).

The National Centre for Domestic Violence (www.ncdv.org.uk) offers legal advice victims of domestic violence to help in the long-term.

“Men cause more damage but women hit more than men.” – American psychologist (female).

“There are two ways of knowing someone – through inflicting pain or through seeking understanding. Because so many are afraid of love, they inflict pain – on themselves and on others. Your therapists, through psychological studies of surveying prisoners of war, know that an interesting, if not bizarre, relationship developed between captive and captor. Through the pain, they came to know each other more deeply than either anticipated. Yes, one route to knowing is through pain, but there is another route. Seeking understanding begins with a conscious desire and concludes with a conscious commitment. It involves taking the time to really reach out – tenderly to reach out…to develop the skill of loving, seeking understanding of yourself and others. You are not in this world to be understood. You are here to be understanding.” - Lazaris (channelled through Jach Pursel, The Sacred Journey. You and your Higher Self, NPN Publishing Inc., FL., U.S., 1987, p.110-111).

Where The Heart Is (directed by Matt Williams, 2000).

Novalee’s friend has been brutally beaten by her ‘lover’ Novalee supplies some much-needed emotional support on the front porch that night and gives her some advice in reply to her question about what she should tell her children.

Lexie Coop (Ashley Judd): How did he find me, Novalee? How do men like that find my kids? How'd he know he could do such a thing to us? He had to be lookin'. He was lookin' for women like me...who are alone with children...and women who are stupid. And they saw through him. They could tell he was evil. And all I saw was a Buick Oh, God. What am I gonna tell my babies? What am I gonna say...to Brownie and Praline when they ask me why this happened to them? [Sobbing] What am I supposed to say, Novalee? [Sighs].

Novalee Nation (Natalie Portman): You tell them - you tell them that our - our lives can change with every breath we take. We both know that. And you tell them to let go of what's gone. 'Cause men like Roger Brisco never win. And tell them to hold on like hell to what they've got - each other and a mother who would die for them...and almost did. You tell them we've all got meanness in us. But we've got good in us too. And the only thing worth livin' for is the good. And that is why we've got to make sure to pass it on.

This is such a beautiful film. Both women have a history of going for the bad guy and suffer as a result but they each end up with a guy who is sensitive and makes their lives more worthwhile. Even the beautiful people, whom one might imagine having everything they want, suffer setbacks and persecution, make bad choices and lose their way. There is a general message of hope that whoever you are, wherever you find yourself in life, struggling, burdened, making mistakes, if your heart is in the right place everything will come together eventually. You will pull through and life will turn around. Specifically, women whose hearts are open may need to learn through experience what they want instead of putting other people first all the time, especially people who will only ruin their lives. Know your own heart and do what is right for you.

“Not the ones speaking the same language, but the ones sharing the same feeling understand each other.” – Rumi.

“To help yourself, you must be yourself. Be the best that you can be. When you make a mistake, learn from it, pick yourself up and move on.” - Dave Pelzer.

Eddie (Paul Newman) to Burt (George C. Scott): You’re dead inside and you can’t live unless you make everything dead around you.
                - The Hustler (directed by Robert Rossen, 1961).

“Anger is revenge taken on yourself for another’s misdeeds.” (The Fortune Cookie Book, Running Press, Pennsylvania, U.S., 2001).

“Control your temper and the world is yours.” (ibid.).

“Anger is poison. It may hurt the other, it may not - it depends on the other - but it is going to hurt you, certainly.” - Osho.

AAnswer not elders who are angry. Let them have their way. Speak sweetly when they speak bitterly. For it is a remedy that soothes the heart. Contentious answers provoke strife and eventually your will will be broken. Let not your heart be troubled, for they will soon return to praise you when their hour of rage has passed.  When your words please the heart, the heart is inclined to accept them. Seek self-mastery then, and your self-mastery will subdue them.@ - Proverb from the ancient Khemetic (Egyptian) Book Of Ani (an excerpt from The Husia).

“Whenever a person feels the lack of self-confidence, he becomes easily angry. In fact anger is always an indication that you are not self-confident. A person who is confident about himself is not easily angry. It is very difficult for him to get into anger. It is our weakness that leads us into anger. The stronger you are, the less anger will be there. The strongest person goes beyond anger. Anger is weakness. So don't be worried about anger; it is a byproduct. Rather be concerned how to become stronger. Do three things. One is, meditate regularly. Within six months you will feel a burst of energy and a confidence arising in you. But don't be bothered about whether any result is coming or not. Continue for six months. And choose any meditation you like, but stick to that; don't change - one day Kundalini, another day Dynamic. One day it will suddenly happen that you will be full of energy, and suddenly you will see that all unconfidence has gone. You have become sure about yourself, centred. The second thing. Before going to sleep, just stand in the room and feel that you are a pillar of energy from the ceiling to the floor - just the shape of a pillar. Close your eyes and feel that you are a pillar of energy, and that you are melting. Visualise that the energy is falling and you are underneath it, as if taking a shower of energy - just for seven minutes. And feel completely cleansed, purified, bathed, and then go to sleep. And the third thing. Whenever you feel angry, don't throw it on persons. Rather, beat a pillow.” - Osho.

We must greet anger with patience and humility? Well, this is one wise perspective conducive to identifying with our spirit but one should realise that such an attitude coincides with inner confidence and power.

Patience is the way of the intelligent man.

“Patience, the most beautiful of all the virtues, and the least understood.” - Edgar Cayce.

In fact, patience and humility may only be required to calm the tiger; that is, they may only be tools to transcend the ego. Like stabilisers on a bicycle until we are able to express ourselves fully as the love and power that we are, focus and extend our awareness wherever we want to, do and go wherever we desire as divine Beings.

‘Everyone’s under pressure in one way or another. They don’t use it as an excuse to take it out on their families...We are not animals. We are not beasts.’ (Quincy M.E., late seventies American TV series).

If you don’t learn to master your rage, it will master you. Overcome the conflicts in you and you’ll overcome your enemy because they are a projection of something in you. Your inner rage - or lack of strength and discipline to control the fire of anger on some level - attracts them. It is wise to remember that depression is a form of anger directed at oneself!

‘For my children: Spiritual teachings of Mata Amritanandamayi’ (translated from Malayalam by Brahmachari Ramakrishnan, Mata Amritanandamayi Mission, 1987).

p.156. Suppose a man gets angry with you for no reason. Even at that time a sadhak should have the attitude to bow down to him realising that it is a play of God in order to test him. Only then can it be said that the benefit of meditation has been attained.

p.157. Children, even when a man is cutting a tree down from its very root, it gives him shade. A spiritual aspirant should also be like this. Only he who prays even for the welfare of those who torment him can become a spiritual person.

"Meditation may require a lifetime to master, but it will have been a lifetime well spent... If you want to judge your progress, ask yourself these questions: Am I more loving? Is my judgment sounder? Do I have more energy? Can my mind remain calm under provocation? Am I free from the conditioning of anger, fear, and greed? Spiritual awareness reveals itself as eloquently in character development and selfless action as in mystical states." ‑ Eknath Easwaran.

“See through the illusion of emotions and pursue the Tao...The sages say, if the blood is boiling over, you must learn to abstain from arguments. Centre Your will and do not show anger.” (Cultivating Stillness, an important Taoist classic translated by Eva Wong, Shambhala, MA., U.S., 1992, p.142-143).

Dudley: It's best to stay away from a man when his blood is up.
Exley: His blood's always up.
Dudley: Then perhaps you should stay away from him altogether.
                - L.A. Confidential (directed by Curtis Hanson, 1997).

“Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.” - Albert Einstein.

“For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Master Kan (Philip Ahn): Observe the day lily. Each morning with the warmth of the sun it opens in lovely blossoms. Each night, it closes...Once, your anger warmed you and, like the flower, you opened to it. That is long past. It is night.
Caine (David Carradine): Am I then to do nothing, feel nothing, be still?
Master Kan: Still water is like glass. It is the perfect level. A carpenter could use it. The heart of a wise man is tranquil and still. Thus, it is the mirror of Heaven and Earth. The glass of everything. Be still like water. You look into it and see yourself.
                - (Kung Fu, Season 2, Episode 6, ‘The Spirit-Helper,’ 1973).

Two people who see only their anger - and see only the ghost of the past, not themselves, now, and their positive potential - project rather than express.

“A hurtful act is the transference to others of the degradation which we bear in ourselves.” - Simone Weil.

“Today’s idea accurately describes the way anyone who holds attack thoughts in his mind must see the world. Having projected his anger onto the world, he sees vengeance about to strike at him. His own attack is thus perceived as self defence. This becomes an increasingly vicious circle until he is willing to change how he sees. Otherwise, thoughts of attack and counter-attack will preoccupy him and people his entire world. What peace of mind is possible to him then? It is from this savage fantasy that you want to escape. Is it not joyous news to hear that it is not real? Is it not a happy discovery to find that you can escape? You made what you would destroy; everything that you hate and would attack and kill. All that you fear does not exist.” – A Course in Miracles (Jeshua channelled through Dr. Helen Schucman, The Foundation for Inner Peace, CA., U.S., 1976).

The aggressor convinced himself that someone is attacking him. He is ‘defending’ himself from a perceived threat, he thinks, in his delusion. In his own mind, his violence is justified.

“Let us not look back in anger or forward in fear, but around in awareness.” - James Thurber.

“The point of power is always in the present moment.” - Louise Hay.

AThe violent man is another expression of the lack of self worth and self love that has bred like a cancer in the collective human mind. Violent people are those who hate themselves and instead of looking inside to find the cause of that self dislike, they thrash out at someone else. Their victim is a convenient mirror...the way we react to others is merely an expression of what we think of ourselves and violent people are a perfect example of this.@ - David Icke (I am Me, I am Free, Cambridge, U.K., Bridge of Love Publications, Isle of Wight, U.K., 1996, p.89).

“This man had been taught early on to keep his pain bottled up. He had stored grief from the past and hid his fear about the future. The source of the argument was his fear. It’s a choice, a habit, to take one’s fear and turn it onto others – but habits can be broken.” [And he “would find someone or something to blame” when he was feeling angry]. - Betty Perkins (Lion Taming.
