Monstaville Book II. Chapter 5

“I just can’t bring myself to hate people. The worse they behave the more I feel sorry for them.”
- Paradise Road (directed by Bruce Beresford, 1997).

Look at it like this: a viper and a cobra living in the same house. The viper is aggressive, constantly trying to wind you up and pick fights. But your nature is very calm and deep, still and gentle, yet you have all the power. So, the viper cannot touch you because you do not lower yourself to engage or respond on an illusory level. It is nothing. He wastes his energy; you conserve your power. His actions remind and inspire you to be centred in reality and express inner power. You are the central hub of power here, calm and regal, while these pests around you squabble, spit and fight. They become weaker and you become stronger. They have no effect on you. You start to wear them down and show their minds to be tiny and their actions useless like mere buzzing and flying around in circles like insects.

“We can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace with ourselves.” - Dalai Lama.

"We often think of peace as the absence of war; that if the powerful countries would reduce their arsenals, we could have peace. But if we look deeply into the weapons, we see our
own minds - our prejudices, fears and ignorance. Even if we transported all the bombs to the moon, the roots of war and the reasons for bombs would still be here, in our hearts and minds, and sooner or later we would make new bombs. Seek to become more aware of what causes anger and separation, and what overcomes them. Root out the violence in your life, and learn to live compassionately and mindfully." - Thich Nhat Hanh.

Caine (David Carradine): The only power I have is to see into myself.

Living in a Grateful World

Be grateful to those who have hurt or harmed you,
for they have reinforced your determination.
Be grateful to those who have deceived you,
for they have deepened your insight.
Be grateful to those who have hit you,
for they have reduced your karmic obstacles.
Be grateful to those who have abandoned you,
for they have increased your wisdom and concentration.
Be grateful to those who have made you firm and resolute
and helped in your achievement.

“...we complicate our lives with emotional reactions.” (‘The Sedona Method’ by Alex Christie, Kindred Spirit, Issue 62, p.45).

Live knowing you are in a dream and it doesn’t matter what happens because life is a game and you are acting out a predefined character and role. You will return to reality at the end of it. Like you are plugged into a virtual world as in Existenz and The Matrix (which you actually are). Wake up in it - don’t follow the physical and emotional responses. Centre yourself in conscious will and awareness. Decide what you want and make it happen. Concentrate your mind. Raise your level of awareness so you are immune to the lower, negative thoughts and emotions of others. Also: live as if the Earth is surrounded by more energy, spiritually charged (which it is said to be now); Her thirteen chakras all active positively, all in harmony. Imagine that you are surrounded by high-frequency energy. And it brings out joy and love in you. That is your space. That is your refuge too, not your flat.

We ought to remain true to our real nature and continue to express divine love no matter what happens. Every time someone wants to harm or torment you and you do not react but glow with pink love instead, you strengthen your self-awareness and centre yourself in reality. This is how to free yourself from the chains of flesh.

Perhaps you have to say, ‘that’s negative,’ ‘that’s positive,’ and think of only the positive. Learn to ignore and shut out the negative. Hence, you feel only joy and love all day long regardless of what happens. It’s one way of coping anyway.

“Love is the great healer, as you know; it heals both those who receive and those who give.” - Gildas (channelled through Ruth White, Gildas Communicates, Neville Spearman Limited, Suffolk, U.K., 1971).

Life’s Paradox

When you are at the end of your evolutionary cycle on Earth you are hanging over a cliff-edge - barely holding on to the Earth plane, struggling to stay grounded. Some people are keen to push you over the edge, thinking that they are superior and to prove that you are weak and misguided, and losing the game of life. But, in fact, paradoxically, they are contributing to your transcendence of illusion whilst further entrenching themselves in it. There comes a point when the physical realm alone will not serve you and you must flex your butterfly wings of subtle energy and consciousness, relying more on your mind and your Self to get through life. Rise above it all and be beautiful.

I'm not very good,
At this Game called Life.

For I've not learned to see children crying,
Without feeling pain.

For I've not learned to watch animals destroyed,
Without wondering why.

For I've not yet met a king or a celebrity,
That I would bow down to.

Or a man so insignificant,
That I would use for a stepping-stone.

For I've not learned to be a 'yes man,'
To narrow minded bosses,
Who quote rules without reason.

And I've not learned to manipulate,
The feelings of others,
To be used for my own advantages,
Then cast aside as I see fit.

No, I'm not very good,
At this Game called Life.

And if everything goes well,
Maybe I never will be…

Excerpt from Stepping Into the New Reality by Karen Bishop, October 2008 (

Whether it be higher vibrating countries being invaded by much lower vibrating countries, cities and towns being over-run by different cultures that are bringing in some lower energy, or simply a dominance of disrespectful, new, and unaware employees taking over a workplace. This is occurring because we are indeed switching over, but the higher vibrating energies are still in the minority. In this way, those bearing more light are retreating to their sanctuaries, relocating to new and different geographical areas, or simply buying land and staying put until the fall is complete. Eventually, the majority will be comprised of higher vibrating energy. The see-saw effect of transition can be tricky at times, but as always, everything is transpiring in a divine and perfectly orchestrated way.
The law of spiritual hierarchies supports this reality as well, because higher vibrating energy cannot exist alongside lower vibrating energy. If you were to look through the dimensions, you would see a perfectly orchestrated and divine plan at work. There is no judgment with this plan, as it is simply a matter of physics and energy.
So then, it is part of the evolutionary plan to ‘shut the door behind us’ after we arrive in a higher dimension. We are not required to allow everyone into our spaces. It is perfectly OK to have healthy boundaries, and with the higher dimensions breaking down many of the old denser energies, our boundaries are more fragile and thin than ever before. In this way, it is vitally important to stay behind ‘the veil,’ or rather, within our higher vibrating creations and spaces. We have lost many of our old defence patterns as they were vibrating lower. In this way, it can now be difficult to exist with less boundaries, and with the now more innocent and pristine energy within us, when our outside surroundings are vibrating so much lower. We may feel very vulnerable and defenceless in a world that still seems to present a threat.
This situation of shutting the door behind us is perhaps one of the most important of any of the aspects of the ascension process if we are to remain sane, and may even seem strange since unity is such an important concept in a higher vibrating reality. The higher we begin to vibrate, or the more evolved we become, the more uncomfortable it is to be in any aspect of the old world or old reality. Spending any amount of time there can serve to throw us off balance, make us feel extremely uncomfortable and edgy, make us wonder if we are indeed residing in hell, and break us down into a weakened state.
If lower vibrating energies cannot be in the same space as higher vibrating energies, why do we need to set strong boundaries at all? Boundary issues become ever important the higher we vibrate. This is because energetic boundaries are now much thinner. There is less density present, just like in the very higher realms where the angels hang out, for instance. But at the same time, because we are going through an ascension process, things are a bit different. In the reality where the angels hang out, there are no threatening, dangerous, or lower vibrating and lost energies! We may be residing with less density surrounding us, but most of us are still embodying some traits that vibrate lower. So then, because we are continually in transition through this process, we are getting a little of this and a little of that as we move up the rungs of the ascension ladder. In so many ways, this transition creates one big mish mosh, as we are not yet completely here or completely there.
In this way, we may still find lower vibrating energies within our spaces. Why? Because there is an overlap somewhere, or rather a matching energy between ourselves and the ‘unpleasant’ intruder, and we have then created an open door. The matching energy might simply be an instance of two individuals wanting to develop new friendships, so they might both have that in common. Or perhaps two individuals both enjoy bowling. When the two individuals are focussing on and connection solely through bowling energy, things may seem to feel pretty good, but then one individual begins to demonstrate lower vibrating behaviours and the relationship then becomes uncomfortable for the one vibrating higher. Any overlap energy creates an open door. Thus, there then exist energies in our spaces that are not a match at all, as they have arrived along with the overlap energy.
Another scenario involving boundaries relates to those who are seeking light, but want to get it from another person. In this way, an individual who is bearing more light will feel drained, used, perhaps abused, maybe even violated, and eventually wants to flee. One individual will be very happy and the other individual will be very uncomfortable. The more light we embody, the more we will attract others. This sets up a situation requiring an understanding of healthy and necessary boundaries.
