“When two persons quarrel, always
both are in the wrong.”
- The Mother (Seeds of Light).
Tai
Chi Sword versus Pigsy Monster
“Whoever relies on the Tao doesn't
try to force issues or defeat enemies by force.” - Laozi.
Nowadays, with everyone moving
around and especially crammed into the London
area, you can get trouble living in any area.
Today, the bandits may live several
miles away, or a mile away, or they might live in the same house or next door!
You have to deal with it as a daily
threat. Living with or next to a ferocious lion is not easy - and Pigsy Monster
is a demon!
But this is a valuable experience
and test to see if you can live the Taoist qualities to demonstrate them by
developing them as part of your being, your attitude and the way that you
think.
Do nothing. Do not react. Respond
with minimum action and speech. Just smile or be polite. Don’t engage on any
other level.
“When two great forces oppose each
other, the victory will go to the one that knows how to yield.” - Laozi.
You must be very strong. Don’t let
Pigsy get to You! Be bold, too. Defy him. Your fun is swordplay and solo. His
fun is at others’ expense. You’re innocent and must set an example. Continue
taiji sword in the garden and don’t be intimidated or feel inhibited as he
wants. No matter what he does you must stand tall and live your life the best
you can. This is developing inner strength.
“Do not conquer the world with
force, for force only causes resistance.” - Laozi.
Pigsy’s mother pampered and spoiled
him and told him he was a good boy even when he did terrible things. So he
depends on her for approval because without that he is left with the danger of
finding out that actually he’s a selfish pig and no one approves of his behaviour.

In Star Trek, the advanced aliens found the use of weapons puerile.
Non-action means expressing energy on an inner plane. Psychic energy. As Buddha
says: You can’t just do nothing, or you allow the other’s negative energy to
hold sway. If you interact with negative energy you add to it and increase the
chances of destructive confrontation. If you positively send light, you can
diffuse and overpower the other person’s negative vibrations, or at least hold
them in check. Thus, like the aliens, you render the other defenceless. They
have nothing to latch on to, no weapons to fire, just confusion. You bring them
into a higher realm of interaction. It is new to them and they are babies
there. They do not know what to do.
You have to relax.
You must be able to relax under
pressure - to be calm and centred.
Don’t allow any storm to throw you
off centre and you will demonstrate your power through non-action.
“Self-reverence, self-knowledge,
self-control, these three alone lead life to sovereign power.” - Violet
Vanbrugh (Dare to be Wise, Hodder
& Stoughton, London, U.K., 1900, p.113).
Be like a tree - stand firm and continue
to shine your light like the sun’s rays filtering through the boughs and leaves
(thoughts).
Use the chi energy to relax - engage
it and put it to use to make yourself calm and strong. Direct it with your mind
- be powerful! (even if you haven’t done tai chi).
Living in a stressful environment
forces you to relax, to overcome fear, to find inner peace amidst disturbance.
Pigsy and the other weak-minded neighbours, and the whole area, are a
disturbing influence. Negative. They seek to destroy you! If you become anxious
all the time you will collapse under the pressure. So, you cannot afford to be afraid or nervous or
stressed. You have to make yourself relax - in body and mind. You have to use
the energy in you to help promote relaxation on all levels. Your survival and
sanity depends upon this.
“I am God's Lion, not the lion of
passion. I have no longing except for the One. When a wind of personal reaction
comes, I do not go along with it. There are many winds full of anger, and lust
and greed. They move the rubbish around, but the solid mountain of our true
nature stays where it's always been.” - Rumi.

on forgiveness (in
2006 I think).
All religions emphasise forgiveness.
It is good for the soul, for your well-being. Otherwise you become fixated. It
is a hard process (of letting go) especially if your persecutors show no
remorse or even acknowledge any guilt. Can a victim forgive an offender?
Forgiveness has a lot of power but the ego wants an opportunity to get even.
When you let go, you are not holding on to make something happen. Hate and
anger eat away at you. Holding pain and grief inside you prevents you from
moving on. It’s not about the other person. It’s about releasing yourself. God
is the one who passes
judgement. [See Appendix IV].
“We may fight against what is wrong,
but if we allow ourselves to hate, that is to insure our spiritual defeat and
our likeness to what we hate.” - George William Russell.
“The meeting of two personalities is
like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are
transformed.” - Carl Jung.
Ricky
the Pimp (Dan
Moran): What were we talking about?
Lenny (Woody Allen): Linda, Linda Ash.
Ricky
the Pimp: Oh yeah,
yeah, that girl’s going no place. She walks on me, I’ll disfigure her and I’ll
fucking kill you.
Lenny: See, that’s exactly what Dr. Klein
(?) would call ‘acting out.’
Ricky
the Pimp: Don’t
tell me how to run my fucking business
I’m not.
Ricky
the Pimp (Dan
Moran): My girls do what I tell ‘em to do
Lenny: Far be it for me to advise you.
You obviously have a work ethic that’s specific to your needs. That’s why you
can afford an establishment like this.
Greek
Chorus leader (F.
Murray Abraham): [Standing behind the bar] You’re gonna to take that from him?
[Ricky the Pimp grabs Lenny by the
scruff of the neck and pushes him against the bar]
Lenny: Take it easy. Take it easy. Aagh.
I’m about to have an out of body experience here
Greek
Chorus leader: Show
strength.
Lenny: Show strength? This guy’s gonna
put me into 27 different separate mason jars.
Greek
Chorus leader: The
girl was right. They respect strength. They despise cowards. Power is all they
know. Stand firm. Remember brave Achilles.
Lenny: A...don’t get me...Achilles only
had an Achilles heel; I have a whole Achilles body!
Greek
Chorus leader: Go
on!
- Mighty Aphrodite (directed by Woody Allen, 1995).
“A hurtful act is the transference
to others of the degradation which we bear in ourselves.” - Simone Weil.
“For Weil, terrestrial life is
impossible...Weil would turn subjection and affliction - symbolised by
edibility - into levers to raise the soul. Remaining naturally hungry (refusing
power) and becoming spiritual food because her strenuous ways to escape the
realm of force. Weil did not mean that attente
was how anyone, woman or man, should live the embodied aspects of life. She did
not conduct herself with waiting obedience in society or the political world,
nor did she urge such conduct on others....Lowering was the way to rise...’Love
what is intolerable. Embrace what is made of iron, press one’s flesh against
the metallic harshness and chill.’” (Immaculate
and Powerful. The Female in Sacred Image and Social Reality. Chapter 11.
‘Simone Weil’s Religious Imagery: How Looking Becomes Eating’ by Judith Van
Herik, Edited by Clarissa W. Atkinson, Constance H. Buchanan and Margaret R.
Miles, Beacon Press, Boston, MA., U.S., 1985, p.274-276).
“In this way, self-sacrifice and
loving others, making others happy, empties us of self. We can then be full of
God because is self is satisfied then God cannot be satisfied in us.
Self-sacrifice opens us to receive more. Self-satisfaction traps us in the body
which is limited, closing Your heart and mind to cosmic nourishment. The Way of
Weil was attente, waiting for (on)
God. Keeping oneself empty was her attitude to food and God. She believed in
remaining hungry oneself and feeding (becoming food for) others.” (ibid.
p.276).
“Heaviness is the root of lightness.
Stillness is the master of
movement.”
- Laozi.
“I believe that one wonderfully
powerful way to decrease your fear is to become a Giver! Why? Because when your
focus is on giving you are not so worried about what you are going to get!
Right
now you may be thinking to yourself, ‘I give and give and give. How much can I
give?’ But do you give, or do you simply exchange? Are you operating on a
barter system? Do you give without expectation of something coming back to you?
‘I give this to you but I expect you to give this to me.’ As you learn the
concept of giving it away, you will be very surprised at how different your
perspective of the world will be.
Now
don’t get frightened that I am asking you to become a doormat for other people
to walk on. You may know my philosophy about that: there’s nothing as
unattractive as footprints on the face! No, I’m talking about an attitude of
meaning. I’m talking about seeing yourself as a person who has much to give to
this world instead of a whining child complaining about pulling up your power
and love and spreading it into this very needy world.
The
key is to be other-involved instead of self-involved. Self-involvement
inevitably creates a ‘scarcity mentality.’ Yes, the same scarcity mentality
that is created when one doesn’t appreciate all the beauty in one’s life.”
-
Susan Jeffers (Feel the Fear...And Beyond, Rider, London, U.K., 1998,
p.143).
“Take one moment
now to consider what it is that may be attaching you to any kind of victim
consciousness that you wish to leave behind. Place whatever you have chosen
into a red bubble, visualise two blazing gold and violet flames and toss this
red bubble into the flames and you will see how it is incinerated - but you
notice something else is happening now - this intense heat is giving birth to a
crystal, and as the flames die down what is left in its place is a magnificent
crystal. This crystal represents the victory consciousness that will replace
the victim consciousness that you have now chosen to leave behind. Pick up this
crystal. If it is too big for you to wear on your body, visualise it shrinking
in size but not shrinking in power. Perhaps you can wear it around your neck or
your wrist. Place it wherever you choose and acknowledge this crystal as a
symbol of what you have left behind as the victim and what you have now chosen
to integrate as the Victor, or Victoria. And give thanks. If you are able to
physically have such a crystal on your person then we strongly urge you to do
so.” - Mary Magdalene (channelled by Michelle Eloff, Johannesburg, RSA,
‘Planetary Grid Activation, 13 September 2007,

"Above
all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim." - Nora Ephron.
“If one
would be completely free of fear, it is essential to understand this whole
process of terming, of projecting symbols, images, giving names to facts. That
is, there can be freedom from fear only when there is self-knowledge.
Self-knowledge is the beginning of wisdom, which is the ending of fear.” -
Jiddu Krishnamurti.
Q1:
Interesting. Some workers doing a little re-modelling project in my house were
very careless with my things. I started to get upset, but then I remembered
that there is a gift in there somewhere. I guess that's what you mean by
'knowing.’
P'taah: Indeed.
And that it is the co-creation.
Q1: It is a
co-creation. Well, that part I don't like to look at quite as much.
Q2: Why not?
Q1: (Laughing)
Well, you know, because
P'taah: Because
it is more fun to be a victim.
Q1: It
is, yes! Thank you! I couldn't think of the word but that is true. It is more
fun to be a victim, especially when you're a powerful victim who knows it's all
going to work out okay.
P'taah: Indeed.
Q2: So
is mastery fearlessness, P'taah?
P'taah: Well,
fearlessness is really simply 'the knowing', is it not? And I suppose that you
could call that Mastery. All fear is based on a misperception.
Q2: The
misperception that we are separated from God?
P'taah: The
misperception that you are not whole, the misperception that you are not
perfect, the misperception that you are not eternal and the misperception that
death is the end of anything.
